The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering, improving, promoting, and protecting versatile hunting dog breeds across North America.
The Texas Chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (Texas NAVHDA) is dedicated to educating and supporting owners in developing the natural abilities of their versatile hunting dogs in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding areas. Our mission is to facilitate positive training experiences that help handlers and their dogs become a well-trained team in the field, whether for testing or hunting.
As one of over 100 grassroots chapters of NAVHDA International, our chapter hosts organized training days monthly, typically March through September, and conducts two NAVHDA International sanctioned tests annually to evaluate a dog’s progress against the NAVHDA International standard.
